Lofly’s first release was restream’s landmark album loopsforstereogram. Restream (aka Andrew White) spent years in late night isolation, using computers and old analogue boxes to process vintage instruments, vocals and field recordings. The result was a  collection of intense, layered electronica more closely akin to classic rock than soundscape or ambient music. Loopsforstereogram is a moving and timeless album of vast sonic detail and quality.

The second restream album Latency was released in 2011. It distills and expands loopsforstereogram’s sonic daring into four mesmerising 10-minute plus tracks of great grace and power.

In between crafting compelling sonic landscapes as Restream, Andrew spends his time playing bass in Mr Maps, producing records (Nova Scotia) and remixing (Axxonn, Vorad Fils, Matters and Dunaway, Toy Balloon, Moon Jog).
