Lofly’s first release was restream’s landmark album “loopsforstereogram”. Restream (aka Andrew White) spent years in late night isolation, using computers and old analogue boxes to process vintage instruments, vocals and field recordings. The result was a  collection of intense, layered “electronica” songs more closely akin to classic rock than soundscape or ambient music. Loopsforstereogram is a moving and timeless album of vast sonic detail and quality. It already has a cult following and will continue to reveal itself to new audiences for many years to come.

The second restream album “Randomfilm” is nearly complete, and will be released in August 2009. It distills and expands loopsforstereogram’s sonic adventurousness into four mesmerising 10-minute plus tracks of great grace and power.  Restream will be playing launch shows Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
