Over the course of three years, Hangar has earnt its place as Brisbane’s most sought after gig for emerging artists. Hangar is a party held in a  lush warehouse space that contains one of the city’s best sounding rooms. We have hosted most of the finest bands from Brisbane’s edge as well as national and international luminaries like Ampere, Mt Eerie, Clue to Kalo, Kid Sam, Jamie Hutchings, TTT, Rat vs Possum and Underlapper.

Hangar can be found in the heart of Red Hill. It’s BYO, and we charge $10 to pay bands and cover costs. Shows generally happen every few weeks. We don’t advertise, but we do send a handy email invite to our friends during the week before each show. It’s the best way to find out what is coming up, so please let us know your email address if you are interested (see right column). We would love to meet you at a show soon.
